Meelad Dezfooli didn't let anything stop him from his dream career. While still in grade school, Dezfooli began working at his father's local flooring store. Sadly, when the recession hit in the late 2000s, his father had no alternative but to close his stores and retire. Dezfooli, who had believed he would one day manage the family business, was despondent. "By the time I turned 18, everything was starting to fall apart, the market was in ruins, many firms defaulted, and my dream was taken from me," he remembers.
