Michaela Jamelska or the growth of a technology & innovation consultant

Michaela Jamelska or the growth of a technology & innovation professional: The reality of limited technology access for women is a big issue in 2023 says Michaela Jamelska: The fight for women’s rights has been a long and arduous journey, marked by significant achievements and setbacks. Women’s right to vote, secured by the suffragette movement, was a major milestone in this struggle. However, despite these achievements, gender inequality persists in various forms, ranging from the gender pay gap to limited access to technology. This article sheds light on data and statistical information that reveal the extent to which women’s access to technology is still limited. See extra details at Michaela Jamelska.

Michaela Jamelska on Ai and Gender Equality: The term AI has recently become a buzzword; a marketing eye-catcher that jumps at you from everywhere these days, and is, frankly, tiring. I googled synonyms of AI, and there was a development of ‘thinking’ computer systems: DoCS – but I am not sure this abbreviation will impact this article as AI would do. So, let’s stick with AI. After all, we are creatures of habit, and this habit will play a particular role in this article. This article will look at a few risks associated with AI and potential solutions. AI technology is already transforming the labor market and changing the types of jobs and their quantity. Undeniably, the process of automation hugely affects employment structure and dictates whether existing jobs disappear or new jobs emerge. This increasing adoption of technology is driving the development of new jobs, according to a UNESCO report. Here is where AI has the potential to help or reinforce gender bias and hinder the DEI goal.

Michaela Jamelska on the innovative 5G trial to boost business : A project led by the West of England Combined Authority (WECA). 5G products and services will be developed to support operations at Bristol Port, demonstrating a smart and dynamic smart port environment. The initiative will focus on security, traceability, and tracking of goods within and across extendable virtual boundaries. Mission is concentrated on the development of two different use cases: 1) The deployment of 5G enabled autonomous drones for security and surveillance; 2) Drone-based traceability and real-time tracking of goods combining both public and private networks, in close cooperation with the University of Bristol. Moreover, 5G LOGISTICS project will demonstrate how 5G private network capabilities can improve the efficiency and productivity of the logistics sector. By testing the potential of 5G in a port scenario, the West of England Combined Authority is driving innovations that could bring economic benefits to the region and beyond. The outcome would bring an innovative way to support businesses and communities creating a connected and sustainable future for the region.

Human rights in today’s world is an ability of people to create empathy and tolerance towards the groups which are distant and different to us, and respect their identity, culture, opinions and rights. The emerging metaverse can play a significant role when shaping the empathy of humans and overall human rights existence in the real and virtual world. The new technology can make people emotionless towards abuses of avatars, or in contrast, an immersive technology can increase empathy by placing us in the shoes of others. While one user may develop the real emotional attachment to his or her own avatar, and through this avatar and different virtual situations grow the understanding of human differences and rights the others may take it just as a game and misuse the power.

This past week our team has been everywhere at once from Down Under to Europe. We have been asked to attend high-profile events to showcase our technology, and this speaks to the value of our software, innovation and capacity to execute globally. We enable industries to be fully autonomous through our one of a kind AI for Autonomy-as-a-Service software Platform. It is the uniqueness of our technology that interests companies like Telefonica, Deutsche Telekom, Sprint, Accenture and Governments in the USA, EU, Singapore and South Korea amongst others to look to us for help with important sectors like 4G / 5G Telco-enabled services, Supply Chain / Logistics, Public Safety, Transport and Infrastructure. We are also focused on expanding in Asia, which is why in the past seven days we’ve had numerous business missions with strategic partners and customers and very high-level meetings in Singapore, Australia and with the South Korean Government, which are all vital to our continuing traction.

Michaela Jamelska on the future of Air Mobility in Europe: “GOF 2.0 Integrated Urban Airspace Validation” European project with a consortium of 13 scientific and commercial partners from the drone and aviation industry under the umbrella of SESAR Joint Undertaking. After the first successful phase one in 2019, SESAR GOF U-space has proven that combining expertise and technology can ensure safe flight operations in all types of airspace. Consequently, GOF 2.0 mission is a promising step further for an integrated European urban airspace. Providing the power of its Autonomy-as-a-Service platform, that acts as a system of systems, enabling the decision-making and collaboration of digital information in an accurate, qualitative, relevant and time-precise way.

Our current everyday life and a lot of world issues stem from human biases and human nature. We often replicate the same biases into the new systems we invent. While it is difficult to create AI and meta systems without a human bias, in the virtual world and Metaverse (which will allow for the creation of a new world), we could limit those biases and learn from the mistakes we’ve made in the world in which we currently live. We are on the brink of creating a new world that can be a better, worse, or identical version of the one we are in at the moment. The second and the third options would be wasted opportunities to fabricate the more ideal world toward which we constantly strive.
